The IABC Gold Quill Awards are presented annually to honour excellent communicators in their fields, and I am happy to tell you that as students, you are eligible to enter under the student categories for Communication Management, Communication Research, Communication Training and Education, or Communication Skills. You maybe submit any course work as an entry, either individual or group, or a project you have worked on outside of class.

Aside from the obvious bragging rights, why should you, a student, enter these prestigious awards? Here’s 3 reasons why:

1. Global Recognition

IABC is an international association, with communication professionals from around the world. The trophy (yes trophy) is presented at the IABC Excellence Gala, which is part of the IABC World Conference, which is held in Montreal in 2018. There will be communicators from all across the world at this event, to recognize and celebrate your achievement.

2. Add amazing experience to your resume
