Under the direction of the Executive Assistant, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the MP`s print, online and community presence. They will also be responsible for all creative design tasks related to the MP office and community relations. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the MP and the office team to strategize, create and execute a media engagement plan Write news releases, briefing notes, scenario notes, and prepare speeches for the MP Design and publish MP Householders and newsletters for constituency distribution Write submissions for community newspapers Manage all of the MP`s social media, including twitter accounts and websites Design and organize the MP advertisements; identify community advertisement opportunities Attend and document community events with the MP, ensuring appropriate photos, social media & communications products are developed.
