Job Title: Bilingual Communications Specialist

 

Job Opening: Our client, Strauss event & association management, is looking for a driven team player to fill the position of Bilingual Communications Specialist. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for creating all communications content in both French and English on a variety of platforms.

This position requires the ability to adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for, in both French and English:

  • Writing, editing, and proofing all marketing and communications content
  • Managing all social media accounts on various platforms
  • Creating blog content and posting to various platforms
  • Creating sales and marketing proposals

 

Qualifications:

  • All applicants must have completed post-secondary education in a related field (Creative Communications, Digital Media) and 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing skills and must be fully bilingual (French & English) in written and oral communication.
  • All applicants must be proficient in the use of various social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), website administration (specifically WordPress), Hootsuite, Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to be driven and self-motivated, and be able to adapt to change quickly in a team-based environment, acting as a positive team player.
