Join IABC Manitoba for a power lunch with Liz Cron and Kayla Buehler from The Chamber, Wednesday, November 18, 12-1 pm.

About this Event

Known as the gathering place for Winnipeg’s business community, The Winnipeg Chamber was turned upside down when COVID-19 reached our city.

With the value proposition of bringing our community together, The Chamber’s communications team was challenged to find new and innovative ways to still connect business professionals while being physically apart.

Fast forward nine months and The Chamber has transformed how they deliver events, programming resources and, most importantly, how they connect their members to one another.

Presentation

IABC Manitoba has invited Liz Cron, The Chamber’s Vice President, Programs and Marketing Events and Kayla Buehler, Events and Marketing Coordinator, for a power lunch where they will share their top lessons learned from this shift and what’s next for Winnipeg’s biggest business association.

Elizabeth Cron is passionate about marketing, community and her home city, Winnipeg. As a Filipino-Canadian, she’s dedicated to building and promoting a more inclusive business community, where all types of individuals are welcome and heard around the table. In her spare time, she enjoys a good spin class, an engaging book, her two pups and a new adventure in a new city.

“One thing I always knew growing up is I wanted to be creative. Now being out in my career for over a year, I get to spend the rest of my professional career doing just that. I graduated from the Creative Communications program at Red River College, while also completing my degree at the University of Winnipeg in Communications, with a focus on marketing.”

“Today I’m the Events and Marketing Coordinator at the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. I focus my time on marketing and running events, social media and engaging our members through a number of events and programming. Things I love doing in no particular order:
planning and organizing events, creating online marketing content, taking photos & strategizing the next big idea.”
