Communication Specialist, Promotion and Market Conduct

You will use your communication and project management skills to manage the review, market conduct approval and execution of sales promotion materials supporting our advisors and distribution organization. You will review advisor advertising and websites for compliance with corporate standards, including brand standards. You will also project manage a variety of communication support materials, including ads and marketing conference materials.
You are a Creative Communications graduate with at least two years’ experience in advertising/marketing communications. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

ChangeMakers Marketing Communications is seeking an experienced business communicator with exceptional project management skills and initiative to join our growing team as a Client Services Manager.
Reporting to the CEO, the Client Services Manager is responsible for developing the client base by servicing the needs of assigned clients in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying opportunities to expand the services provided to existing clients and to propose services to prospective clients in coordination with the CEO.
- Writing and editing service proposals, research reports, communication audits, marketing communication plans and materials for clients as assigned.
- Coordinating project meetings, deliverables, time tracking and billing with clients, and colleagues.
- Liaising with clients and the internal creative team to determine specifications, develop content and assure that client materials are produced on time, on budget, and according to predetermined project plans.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in management, business administration or communications with a specialization in general business management, public relations or marketing.
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in identifying and servicing clients’ needs in a marketing communications department, advertising agency or design firm.
- Excellent project management, research, relationship development and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in government and media relations is an asset.
- Membership in a professional association that demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development is an asset.
