  • Managing corporate communications for both internal and external.
  • Assisting executive management in corporate planning and reporting.
  • Liaising with other managers and executive management on all related initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in public relations, communications, or marketing with experience at a management level, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing high-level corporate/business communications.
  • Experience managing and motivating staff.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) in a cloud-based environment.
  • Ability to research, develop, and edit content following style guides.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects, and adapt to changing work demands and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of corporate and strategic planning methods.
  • Knowledge of social media, web, and other online tools.

Desired qualification: 

  • Ability to deliver customer service excellence, both internally and externally.
  • Basic understanding of the French language.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agriculture.

Conditions of employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
