Description:

Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is looking for a professional creative development writer for proofreading and creative writing.  You will collaborate with an in-house creative team to deliver a wide variety of on-brand marketing materials. As quality assurance lead, you’ll review all customer-facing material to ensure consistency in style as well as accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as provide creative writing support that strengthens and promotes the FCC brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop material that connects with the target audience in print and other mediums
  • Analyze requests for creative support, assess creative plans, and strategies
  • Edit and revise existing copy for impact, clarity, and adherence to established standards
  • Contribute innovative ideas to solve marketing challenges

Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree in English, Arts, or Communications with at least three years of related experience (or equivalent); having an understanding of agriculture or finance is an asset
  • Have proven creative and corporate writing experience
  • Be a strategic thinker well-versed in marketing best practices
  • Have the ability to multi-task with an editorial eye and an appreciation for persuasive communication
  • Be a collaborator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Have confidence in making presentations, sharing ideas, and taking initiative
