IABC Manitoba is committed to reconciliation. At our April event, Sharing Stories of Hope and Resiliency, we’re honoured to have Kevin Chief speak with us about resiliency and reconciliation.

The presentation will take a sincere, honest look at:

  • The importance of land acknowledgement for communicators and businesses
  • The Truth and Reconciliation Commission and what our profession can do
  • The impacts of systemic racisim in Manitoba and what that means today

About our speaker: Kevin Chief is co-founder of the Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre (WASAC) and chairperson for the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development Inc.
