Dear IABC Manitoba Community,
Spring is finally here and that means grass is finally finding its way to the sun finally. It also means that corporate budgets have been set for the next fiscal year so it’s a great time to be job hunting or an exciting time to be thinking of a change.
On that note, we are looking forward to hosting a professional development session dedicated to this topic: what are recruiters looking for when hiring for marketing and communications roles in the current job market? Join us in early May for this exciting and informative luncheon. Further details to follow.
March was membership month but it’s always a great time to find and build community with your industry colleagues not just locally but internationally as well. Future members might consider the join-and-go option when registering for the World Conference in Toronto this June. And dear student members, your membership transitions wonderfully as you enter the working world as a new graduate so don’t forget to take advantage of this opportunity.
